Measuring principle
Millimeter-wave Moisture Measuring System WWA instantly measures the moisture contained in the material passing through the system, by utilizing the properties of millimeter wave that:
- it is transmissible though the material, and
- absorbed by moisture.
* Depending on the type, shape or other conditions of plastic pellets, adjustment of measurement condition may be required.
Measurement of various types of material enabled
By adding the measurement with Millimeter-wave Moisture Measuring System to the process, it is enabled to measure the moisture content of the material in advance.
This helps prevent production of defectives.
Even if more than one types of material are used, their moisture content can be measured only with this system.
(Up to 100 types of material can be registered.)
